Immigration 101

The following memo was sent via email to staff on January 28, 2016, from Valerie Borgfield, Assistant Director, Office of International Education.

Would you like to know more about how international students apply and get admitted? Or what their requirements are that might be different from domestic students?

The Office of International Education and the Office of Admissions Processing have created an “Immigration 101” session to answer these and other questions about admission procedures, transcript evaluation, enrollment requirements, employment, etc.

If you would like to schedule a 1 hour session with your department or office, please contact Valerie Borgfield at or call me at 940-898-3338. This offer is open to any staff or faculty at any level at the university.

Assistant Director, DSO
