Arts & Jazz Fest – Volunteer Sign Up

The following memo was sent via email to staff on April 8, 2016, from Ryan Mayer, Development Officer.

All –

TWU Faculty and Staff – We Need Your Help!!!!  We are looking for volunteers to work the TWU Beverage Booth at this year’s Denton Arts and Jazz Festival.  This event works as a fundraiser for the University with all proceeds going toward Leadership Scholarships Students.

Available time slots are listed below and will be filled on a first reply – first reserved basis, so please act fast to ensure you get the shift(s) you want most.  To reserve your spot, just send me a quick email with your shift choices and a cell phone number.

Sign up with your department!!  Sign up with your friends from other departments!!  Sign up with your family!!  The possibilities are endless…..

Notes For This Year’s Booth:

  • New Booth Location – We will be at the beverage booth on the south side of the park near the Civic Center and Art Booths
    • Assorted beverages, including alcohol, will be sold at our booth
  • All volunteers inside the booth must be 18 years or older
    • There is plenty of open space around our booth for family/friends below 18 years old to relax and enjoy the festival (including some private space behind our tent)
  • Wear your favorite TWU Shirt during your shift to promote our great University!!!
  • We will schedule a volunteer reception following Jazz Fest to thank you all for your continued support – Date/Time TBD

Friday – April 29

  • 6pm to 9pm
  • 9pm to 11pm

Saturday – April 30

  • Noon to 3pm
  • 3pm to 6pm
  • 6pm to 9pm
  • 9pm to 11pm

Sunday – May 1

  • 11am to 1pm
  • 1pm to 4pm
  • 4pm to 7pm
  • 7pm to 9pm
