Memo sent on behalf of Lewis Benavides from Human Resources on October 10, 2016.
TWU Community (staff employees and those managing staff employees),
Dr. Feyten has recently announced the University’s transition (See attached October 6th email) to merit based compensation. Along with that communication, BJ Crain has provided the University with specific implementation details about how the merit based compensation plan will work: http://twu.edu/downloads/comp-classification/FY2017-Merit-Based-Compensation.pdf
There will be one mandatory session for supervisors (including faculty that supervise staff) and two open sessions for staff employees (non-supervising staff). These sessions will provide staff supervisors and employees with information and tools to address the upcoming performance evaluations upon which merit pay will be based.
These sessions will be held in the MCL Auditorium as follows:
- Session 1 – Mandatory Supervisors’ meeting from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26th
- Session 2 – Staff Employees’ meeting from 8:30 am – 10:00 am on Friday, October 28th or can attend,
- Session 3 – Staff Employees’ meeting from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm on Friday, October 28th
Highlights of the Staff Performance Evaluation & Merit Based Compensation Timeline will be presented at the sessions and later this week by additional email communication.
If you are unable to attend any session, recorded sessions will be available on the HR website by November 1st located at: http://www.twu.edu/humanresources/
